This was our opportunity to work with a customer on a small bathroom that needed updating. The customer wanted to have both a bath and shower in the new bathroom. We achieved this by installing an L-shaped shower bath complete with matching shower screen and panel.
New lighting was installed in the ceiling to create a bright and light atmosphere together with an extract fan.
The walls were tiled in a large format matt finished porcelain wall tile with a contrasting colour on the bath wall. The floor was tiled with a co-ordinating porcelain floor tile to create the perfect finish. Please note the attention to detail on the tiling around the ducted wall areas.
By installing a wall suspended basin with semi pedestal this helped to create the illusion of more floor space.
An oil fuelled towel rail was fitted with a 7-day digital timer to ensure that the customer woke up to and come home in the evening to warm cosy towels.
An electric instantaneous electric shower was fitted in preference to a shower valve connected to the customer’s existing hot and cold water supplies. This meant that in the event of a boiler breakdown the customer would still have a working shower.
