This New Cross Kitchen Installation was a renovation project that we thoroughly enjoyed working on. We were recently contacted by a client based in Hertfordshire. They were looking for an entire ground floor refurbishment of their newly graduated sons mews flat in New Cross.
The existing kitchen and ground floor hardwood flooring were all very tired and damaged. The cloakroom was also not an ideal place for guests to visit.
After a great deal of consultation with both the end client and parents, they opted for a Crown Zeluso Matte Rock handle-less kitchen coupled with Samsung appliances and Blanco Cinzenza 20mm composite quartz worktops and matching upstands. The walls were then seamlessly finished with Opticolour White Gloss toughened glass splashback panels.
The installation of the Samsung Pyrolytic dual flex oven and induction hob meant that cooking would be a joyful pastime, together with the installation of a combination microwave to warm up those late-night snacks. Refrigeration came in the form of a Samsung 70/30 split frost free fridge freezer with digital inverter technology.
The overall brief from the end client was for a modern “bachelor pad” feel that would be stunning to look at whilst remaining practical to use daily. As a result of this requirement, a contrasting Polyflor Driftwood plank-style vinyl floor tile was specified for the kitchen, hallway and ground floor cloakroom space.
This, in turn, provided a continuous, seamless finish effect.
The total effect of the above led to what I’m sure you’ll agree is a stunning, modern contemporary finish that will stand the test of time.
