Bathroom Installation Hither Green, SE13

This Hither Green Bathroom Installation was a classic Victorian Hither Green back edition bathroom with sloping ceilings. This project was completed for a young family with a second child on the way. In their brief, they asked us to provide them with a sizeable showering space, a bath for the children and plenty of built-in storage.

We specified an 800mm x 1500mm K-Stone acrylic capped stone resin shower tray to fulfil this brief. We placed this shower tray straight on the floor, providing easy step-free access. The walk-in shower tray featured 10mm toughened glass panels finished with matt black metalwork completed with contrasting chrome fully recessed two outlet thermostatic shower valve accompanied by a pencil shower head and a larger fixed drencher shower head.

Storage and hand washing facilities were provided in the form of a run of Montrose-fitted bathroom furniture. This consisted of a Stadium 800mm 2-drawer wall suspended basin unit completed with a one-piece ceramic basin top. Additional worktop and storage space were added to the right-hand side of this unit in the form of a reduced depth Montrose base unit complete with contrasting composite quartz worktop, mirrored with the stone windowsill in the bathroom space.

A modern Victorian effect was achieved using 300mm x 100mm white high gloss Metro wall tiles and a ceramic Victorian geometric pattern style porcelain floor tile.

The final luxury touch was added in installing an April Cayton 1500mm free-standing bath fed via a wall-mounted bath and shower mixer. Perfect for bathing the kids and those long lazy Sunday night soaks for the adults.
