This was our opportunity to work with a Senior Management Executive who had moved from the South East into a modern, new build home where not all the living areas met her very high standards, expectations and use of all available space. Based on her past experiences with us she sought to work with us again on her new projects.
We worked with the customer and listened to her needs which resulted in the removal of a small dividing wall between the kitchen and dining area. Our joint design, development and installation of a new large open plan kitchen and dining space allowed the customer to maximise storage and utilise the whole floor areas. The end result allowed the customer to showcase her Zeluso Matt Coffee Light handle-less kitchen with white granite worktops. The customer enjoys entertaining and is now able to maximise the newly furnished, open plan space without any hazards to family members or guests.
Whilst this is an open plan space the careful design of the kitchen has meant there is little movement from one area to another whilst preparing and cooking. The customer has a range of integrated appliances including a fridge/freezer which blend seamlessly into the whole kitchen. She has teamed this with a hot/cold filter tap and black glass sink.
The L-shaped corner of the kitchen with its white granite worktop not only acts as a focal point but allows the customer and her guests to create superb cocktails and increased space for greater interaction between family members and friends thus helping to eliminate potential isolation during meal and entertaining times.
The customer’s choice of contrasting colours for the kitchen furniture and worktops has made the new kitchen space light and airy. The coffee light units reflect the natural light in the whole area.
We installed a Camaro Ployflor vinyl plank effect floor to both the kitchen and dining room areas. This was followed on by a natural stone effect vinyl floor tile in the hallway.
