This was our opportunity to work with a family who had a tired, dated, narrow dark pine kitchen.
We worked with the customer on an updated design and installation of a bright, light, modern, working kitchen space. There was no scope to change the general layout in this galley type kitchen however with clever concealment of the boiler and pipe work these items are no longer visible in the new kitchen.
Our customer opted for Crown Imperial Furore in White Super Gloss both handled and handle less units giving the overall image of an extremely light, open and airy space. The use of both modern integrated and free standing appliances worked well in the new design, appearing seamless in the eye flow of the kitchen.
The separate white composite quartz worktops show off the under mount stainless steel sink and built in Bosch gas hob with built under oven and whilst drawing attention to the kitchen cooking and cleaning areas does not detract from the overall clean cut lines of the whole kitchen.
Sensio under cabinet LED lighting compliments the down lighters in the newly boarded ceiling giving a warm glow to the kitchen from dusk onwards.
The kitchen was fitted with new under floor heating with a 7-day digital programmer which can be turned off or down as required whilst on holiday or during the summer months.
The customer opted for contrasting wall and floor tiles. Using a high gloss 300mm x 100mm tile on the walls and a matt 600mm x 600mm porcelain floor tile.
