This was our chance to work with a customer who wanted to refurbish their downstairs cloakroom, which was an awkward shaped space and had been neglected for some time.
Our customer wanted a modern, up-to-date look thereby making it more inviting to family members and visitors.
We stripped out the fitments, hacked off the tiles to walls and floor then re-plastered to create a smooth, even, flat surface for new wall and floor tiling plus ceiling decorating. We boxed in all the unsightly pipe work whilst still allowing a route for access if and when needed.
The customer opted for Montrose Milan Grey High Gloss furniture which concealed the WC cistern. This was coupled a Montrose back to wall WC pan topped off with Samsung Composite Quartz white worktop.
In order to increase usability of the cloakroom we installed a wall suspended corner basin with minimal protrusion. The accompanying pipe work was minimal with clean lines so as not to detract from the overall finished result.
Both the wall and floor tiles were edged with an aluminium profile. The customer opted for a warm beige wall tile in 300mm x 600mm and complimented this with a 300mm x 600mm dark grey floor tile thereby making the whole room look brighter and bigger.
