This was our chance to renew a working partnership with a previous long-standing client who embarked on a major renovation project on the Cator Estate, Blackheath.
The project involved substantial side and rear extensions, which were carried out by the client’s builder. However, having used our services in the past, the client was keen to use us again. This was due to our keen attention to precise detail and final finishing for both the kitchen and bathroom spaces.
The central kitchen was a combination of Crown Zeluso Oyster High Gloss handle-less units and Crown Imperial Furore Ceramic Anthracite Matt handle-less units.
These units were complimented by a genuinely bespoke Cosmic Gold granite worktop. The centre Island space featured waterfall ends with Franke Fraganite Composite under-mount sink and Franke Boiler Tap, perfect for tea making and cooking preparation duties.
The main cooking appliances specified were Bosch Series 8, including dual pyrolytic single ovens, a steam combination oven, a 5 burner induction hob, and a combination microwave oven. Refrigeration in this area came in the form of a Bosch 70/30 split integrated frost free fridge freezer and a state of the art multi-zone Miele wine cooler.
Under cabinet, plinth lighting and automated internal lighting to the two Crown Space Tower units came in the form of Sensio lighting products. The stunning look was completed with an Opticolour Matte Bronze toughened glass splashback panel to the sink and hob wall area. An additional Franke Fraganite under-mount sink was fitted as the central wash station for the kitchen.
The client was a coffee aficionado and asked for a bespoke space to be created for the coffee machine and all associated ancillaries to be stored. This was made by designing and installing a custom unit complete with natural granite full height splashback panel and integrated flat-screen television essential for that “not to be missed “tv programme.
In addition to the main space, we also commissioned an ample utility room space complete with; Miele freestanding washing machine, tumble dryer, additional Bosch built under fridge and freezers to provide extra chilled and frozen storage space.
The boiler, water softener and underfloor heating manifold and controls were concealed within a bank of tall larder units. These provided additional storage as needed. Once again, this space was accompanied by the truly stunning Cosmic Gold granite worktop used in the main kitchen area.
Lastly, for the ultimate wow factor to our ground floor works, the client opted to install a James Bond-inspired bespoke underground wine cellar completed with theatrical automatic raising floor and integrated lighting.
