This Beautiful Kitchen Installation Penge, was our opportunity to work with 2 sisters who live in a converted Victorian Diary. The property gave them a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area coupled with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
As the property was being fully overhauled and our works included the design and installation of a fitted kitchen, fitted bathroom and bespoke cabinetry to concealed a newly fitted boiler and provide additional storage space.
The bathroom was an internal space with no window and therefore no natural light. Our clients wanted to create a warm, boutique hotel feel to their bathroom. After full stripping out works the space was prepared for full wall tiling using large format porcelain tiles, by levelling /plumbing up all the internal stud walls. This is particularly important when using a large format tile.
As with all properties of this type and age both storage and space are at a premium. Taking full account of this we specified a run of free standing Elation furniture incorporating back to wall WC unit and 2 door basin unit. This was coupled with a 1 piece ceramic worktop/basin.
The 1-piece ceramic top is perfect for busy bathers who may not have time to clear away spilt water in the mornings. Matching Roca Victoria basin mono bloc mixer finished off the overall effect.
Bathing and showering options were covered with the installation of a Roca Gap bath and Roca Esmai built-in thermostatic bath/shower valve. The bath/shower valve benefited from 2 outlet options, one fixed rain shower head the other a multi functional riser rail handset.
The showering area was kept water tight by the installation of a Kudus Inspire bath/shower screen with fixed 500mm panel and 300mm opening door. Matching Elation furniture/bath panels were used to shroud the bath. The bath was filled by a matching Roca Victoria bath deck filler.
Walls were fully tiled using large format Royale Lounge, Light Grey Gloss porcelain wall tiles enhanced with an Ardex Cast Iron grey grout. A matching range of porcelain floor tiles were used on the floor area but this time in a large format Royale Lounge, Light Grey Matt porcelain floor tile. No slips when getting out of the bath/shower.
The desired lighting effects were achieved with the installation of LED down lighters into the ceiling and a Sensio Grace back lit mirror complete with demister pad.
Ever helpful to save our clients hard earned pennies wherever possible the existing chrome ladder towel rail was reinstalled coupled with new matching chrome radiator valves. Supplies to this radiator were seamlessly brought through the wall to avoid any nasty junctures at floor tiling point.
